We have a 4th member in our family!

No I am not pregnant with twins! ( because i know that, that is immediately what everyone thought. Don't tell me I'm wrong about that.) We have a 2nd car!
Here's a link to a pic on my facebook profile. i have none on the computer. so really this blog is pointless because if you have facebook, you've already seen the picture, and thus already knew...

It's hotter than ... / celebrities are people too

Im making chicken Quesadillas (or if you are or know my brother Shane Qwasadillies). I went to the freezer to pull out a chicken breast that would be enough to feed the both of us. Little did I know that the 1st piece to be pulled would be big enough to feed us and our entire small group from church. (please feel free to visit my facebook profile for visual evidence of the Ginormous breast..) Yes, I am easily amused but on a day like today it honestly wouldn't take much. Which is probably why this piece of chicken, is so amazing. I will have to admit that once thawed there were two pieces conjoined, but that's not what it looked like when i took the pictures.
So what does a day like today have to do with me being easily amused?  Its hotter than Balls outside!!! 10 minutes out there and your brain melts. Earlier this afternoon i spent 45 minutes at the pool. Not to mention the time spent in the car with no air conditioning. That alone should be sufficient excuse for what I will now discus.

Note the "Underboob" Sweat
Talking of the heat brings me to another subject. Sweat. The direct result of a human body's exposure to heat both internal and external.
Now, I understand the sweating of the armpits; shoot that's what we have them for, but why in the world would we have to sweat from anywhere else?, say the legs, especially under the knees.
A "knee pit" if you will. If that is really what the under knee should be called then there should be no question of the sweat that originates there, but honestly, is it necessary? Am I the only one that suffers from serious leg sweats? Its like i need to take a towel to tuck under my knees whenever we set out in our hot box of a vehicle. Not only that, yes it gets worse. Yesterday evening Phil and I went to the driving range. It was indeed quite hot and humid, and thus we were both sporting sweaty tee's and foreheads. What I failed to notice, that Phil so kindly waited to inform me about until we were on our way to the car, was that I had developed some cheek sweat along the bottom hem of my shorts. Embarrassing!!! And yet i wish i had a picture to share, because what good is an embarrassing moment if you can't laugh at it yourself and then share it with everyone you know. Thus the picture of Brittany here is not so much a jab at her, but rather a sub-par substitution for the image that should have never have had to be witnessed and yet should have definitely been captured. Yes I was that woman. And no I will not be wearing those shorts again on such a hot day, as to avoid such an instance repeating itself. But seriously... I'm not the only one.  In fact it kind of made me mad looking for a good portrayal of sweat (picture), because all the pictures I came across were labeled by fashion Nazis making fun of celebrities that had visible sweat rings. People sweat! Celebrities are people too!

Stay Cool Out There,

One must be well rested

Good evening Friends, Family, and Complete Strangers.

I have had a long day. It is now 8:30 pm, and I feel that if were to close my eyes for more than a blink, I would most certainly fall asleep.
I woke up at 4am to bring Phil to the airport so that he could spend a few extra days in Q-town before the Hollensteiner- Harvey wedding, and then i went straight to work. My schedule for today was 5:30 to 1:30 but because there was such a long prep list I stayed at work until 3.
9 1/2 hours on the job doesn't seem all that bad, and it really wasn't. that is until 8:30 rolls around and I am soooo sleepy. What happened to me, I used to be at my most awake between 9pm and 12am... is there a certain age, a threshold of responsibility that I tripped through a while ago that caused me to desire to crawl into bed before the sunset? There are so many things I could accomplish, but sleep sounds so much better than all of them right now. Tomorrow I must work, and pack, and clean, and one must be well rested for such projects...right?

Sweet Dreams All!
