It's official, Phil and Christie Matta have joined the Blog movement.
And this... this is our very first Blog.
This morning we decided to take our home office (aka the small desk that is set against the wall in our living room) out on the road, and settled at a quaint local coffee shop called the Global Village. We have been here for about two hours, and at least 1.5 of those hours were spent by me (Christie) in an attempt to get that cute little picture of our feet in Rollerblades to actually show up on the flipping page. As you can see, I accomplished my goal. As you were not here to witness the small fit of joy that i threw upon such an accomplishment, I will tell you that it was preceded by bouts of pure frustration, flailing of arms, and whining (all of these much to Phil's annoyance).
So I'm not very tech savvy, but what I lack my better half makes up for, and between the two of us we hope to keep this blog as up-to-date and entertaining as possible.
I will now take a moment to enjoy the fabulous live music that is filling the room, If I knew of a way to share this moment with you I would...but as we all now know, I cannot.

Is a catchy, chic sign off phrase necessary? I can't decide. Maybe the key is to just not commit, then i can change it on a whim to better reflect my mood, and no one will be offended.
